On 5 November 2025, the Office of the Commissioner of Communications – Digital Security Authority (DSA), as part of the CADMUS Project partnership activities in Cyprus, co-organised the EUC Graduates Bootcamp in collaboration with the European University of Cyprus.
The event brought together more than 580 students and recent graduates, providing a dynamic platform to explore digital innovation, employability skills, and future career pathways in the digital sector.
As part of its contribution, the DSA delivered an interactive presentation focused on cybersecurity careers and ethical hacking. The session highlighted the growing importance of cyber resilience in today’s interconnected digital environment, while also presenting the diverse career opportunities available in the cybersecurity field. Particular emphasis was placed on the ethical responsibilities of cybersecurity professionals and the role they play in protecting digital systems and services.
The presentation also aimed to raise awareness among young graduates about the increasing demand for cybersecurity expertise across sectors, encouraging them to consider careers in digital security and ethical hacking as part of a rapidly evolving labour market.
Through this initiative, the CADMUS project and its Cypriot partners seek to inspire the next generation of cybersecurity professionals and contribute to strengthening cybersecurity awareness and culture within the European digital ecosystem.
