The CADMUS Project participated in the Cybersecurity Career Fair organised on 25-26 November by the ICT Academy of the Office of the Commissioner of Communications – Digital Security Authority (DSA), held in Cyprus.
The two-day event brought together students, parents, educators, and cybersecurity professionals, providing an important platform for knowledge exchange and engagement on current and future career opportunities in the cybersecurity field. The CADMUS project was presented to visitors as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen practical, employable, and standards-aligned cybersecurity skills across Europe.
Throughout the event, the project showcased its approach to cybersecurity education and capacity building, focusing on practice-oriented training and collaboration with key stakeholders. Particular emphasis was placed on CADMUS’s role in supporting skills development through innovative learning methodologies and European cooperation.
The project activities presented included:
• development of cybersecurity training for SMEs and public-sector professionals
• alignment of training pathways with current industry requirements
• upskilling initiatives for civil servants in secure digital public administration
• hands-on learning formats such as cyber ranges, hackathons, and bootcamps
• adaptive and personalised training supported by advanced digital tools and AI-based approaches
• use of National Cybersecurity Competence Centres to address country-specific needs
• contribution to the EU Cybersecurity Skills Academy under the ECCC and ENISA framework
Participation in the Cybersecurity Career Fair offered a valuable opportunity to present the CADMUS project to a broad audience and engage directly with stakeholders from education, industry, and public administration.
The CADMUS consortium extends its appreciation to all visitors who attended the stand, expressed interest in the project, and contributed to meaningful discussions on strengthening cybersecurity skills in Europe.
